SHABBY CHIC GUEST BEDROOM

A collective design, combining old and new to create a welcoming guest bedroom in this property in the countryside. 

2 single Pine beds and a bedside table have been given a new life by painting them. This new white-wash effect contributes to the Shabby Chic look we wanted to create.A combination of old and new was also used to add interest.

Vibrant orange was added as accent colour to this mostly neutral colour scheme.The punchy orange adds warmth and life to the room, while the natural colour scheme keeps it a calm and peaceful haven.

The pine base beds have plenty of room for storage . We also added a linen storage trunk , to display a collection of antique boxes and bottles. This adds a bit of extra character and personality to the room.

Appropriate window dressing, accessories, rugs and light fixtures was also chosen for this room. 

This room will most definitely contribute to a welcoming stay-over for any quest!

TOP TIP: Orange is a brilliant choice to use as an accent colour in  north-facing rooms or rooms lacking natural light.
